TIDE TO TABLE
An evening at Mystic Aquarium
September 24th · 6–9 PM · $175 per person
The best meals in New England start in the water. This September, we're gathering at Mystic Aquarium for a night about exactly that, where our food comes from, who pulls it from the tide, and what it takes to keep these waters worth fishing.
The evening opens with a screening of Ocean State: Rhode Island's Wild Coast, from Emmy-nominated filmmaker Tomas Koeck, where guests can enjoy a film about the wild edge of our own backyard. After the film, Koeck joins James Beard Award–winning chef David Standridge and a panel discussion with Chefs, environmentalists, farmers, and the aquarium's own scientists for a conversation about the connection between healthy coastal waters and what lands on your plate.
Then we eat. Tastings from some of New England's best chefs, an open bar, and the run of the aquarium's main gallery after hours.
Presented with Mystic Aquarium, Eating with the Ecosystem, The Yellow Farmhouse, and Stoneridge.
